Nexus — Terms of Service

1 Acceptance of Terms

By inviting Nexus to your Discord server, using its slash commands, or logging into the web dashboard, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you don't agree with them, please don't use the bot or dashboard.

2 Description of Service

Nexus is a Discord bot that provides AI-powered server building, F1 league management (standings, briefings, incident reports, team management), sim-racing esports team management for Le Mans Ultimate, iRacing, Assetto Corsa Competizione, and Gran Turismo 7, plus general moderation, utility, and fun commands. An optional web dashboard lets server admins manage settings and view activity from a browser.

Nexus is run as a free community project. Features may be added, changed, or removed over time, and the bot may occasionally be offline for maintenance or updates.

3 User Responsibilities

Use Nexus in a way that complies with Discord's own Terms of Service and Community Guidelines.
You're responsible for the content you submit through commands — announcements, incident reports, sign-up answers, team rosters, and similar — since Nexus posts what you give it.
Server admins are responsible for the permissions they grant Nexus and for reviewing how it's configured on their server.

4 Prohibited Uses

Don't use Nexus to harass, spam, or distribute illegal, abusive, or harmful content.
Don't attempt to exploit, abuse, overload, or reverse-engineer the bot's commands, AI features, or dashboard/API.
Don't use Nexus in any way that violates Discord's Terms of Service or Developer Policy.

5 Data Collection

Nexus stores the minimum data needed to run its features — things like Discord IDs and the information you submit through commands. It does not read or log your regular Discord messages. Full details are in our Privacy Policy.

6 Limitation of Liability

Nexus is provided free of charge, "as is," by an independent developer, with no warranties of any kind. We do our best to keep the bot online and your data safe, but we can't guarantee uninterrupted service or that data will never be lost.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we aren't liable for downtime, data loss, or any damages resulting from your use of Nexus. Use it at your own risk — the same as you would any free community tool.

7 Changes to Terms

We may update these terms as Nexus's features or legal requirements change. The "Last updated" date at the top will reflect the latest revision. Continuing to use Nexus after a change means you accept the updated terms.
